FROM Software's mech shooter, Chromehounds, has had some well documented server problems since its release. Consistent downtime for server maintenance has occured since release, but it seems FROM has come out with a more permanent solution.

An update is out now to correct some problems. However, check this out. This translated Chromehounds website tells us about the update. The text is a little bit broken up, but you can get the gist of it. Here is what it says:

2006/09/07 the update program (the patch) we start transmission early morning.

With the latest update, improvement of a communication state in world mode and in addition correction of trouble is done. When when the software of CHROMEHOUNDS is set to the substance sign in it does in XboxLive because verification message of update is indicated, following to that, please do update job.

　

Also in the future that patronage, we ask 'CHROMEHOUNDS' may.

Read that last line again. Could that mean an extra fee for Chromehounds in future? It remains to be seen. I sincerely hope no extra fee will be charged in the future.
